A web site without a plan is like remodeling your bedroom, adding new carpet and paint then waiting in bed for something to happen. Yea you may be happy with the room [site] but soon you get tired of waiting in bed waiting.

Look, it pretty much breaks down this way . . .

Never before in history has "main street" or small business been able to specify to such a high degree of a targeted group of people and put a low cost message in front of them at the time of a purchase decision.

The opportunity is incredible!

It all revolves around:

  • Knowing your clients
  • How they search using keywords
  • Developing a searched and indexed web site
  • Giving people great and fresh content
  • Using Keyword research to find even more opportunity

Is this a simplified version? Yes, perhaps. The steps are there, but not the effort. It looks easy, but harder to do.

Local markets do not have much competition becuase this whole web site thing is just now starting to sink into the business physic. Young people know about and demand it, lots of older users use it, but business is just now realizing it. If you are going to jump, now is a very good time. Most of the mystery is gone, it just takes work ... just like any good thing, it takes effort.
