When is SEO NOT needed?
- Private sites or Intanets. Any time you don't want the public to use the site.
- When your site is doing very well, you have great and consitent ranking or the cost of change or scale is a risk
- Special opportunity or emergency circumstances. Your need is now, right now. SEO can help, but good SEM takes time to build
- Your sites goals and function are targeted for a smaller sub-section of users where the advantages of SEO are not a full 100%.
Aside from these considerations, SEO is something you need to incorporate into your Internet planning.
